My thanks to Chris, Peter, Janet and the committee for
inviting me to judge at the Silver Jubilee Show - it seems like only yesterday
that the club was formed! My thanks as always to Mark for accompanying me.

MIDNIGHTSTAR PERSEUS 66a 30/06/05
Ears of very good size and shape,
correctly set. Good top of head. Good profile, though nose just a little long
for perfection. Eyes of very good size, shape and colour. Good cheek, good
muzzle shape, good chin, correct bite. Excellent body type with balanced legs,
tail just a little short. Coat a little short but of very good texture.
Excellent condition. I thought this chap needed a bit more size, but having
said that he was surprisingly heavy and solidly built.

SPIRITDANCERS FRED THERED 66dw 26/06/04 A cat of excellent size and substance.
Ears good shape and well set. Good flat skull. Good profile with neat nose.
Eyes of good size and shape, fairly good colour. Good muzzle shape, fairly well
developed cheeks. Heavy jowls. Long body of excellent type. Excellent bone and
substance. Coat of good length, just a little woolly. A pleasing exhibit.
3 Newman's HAPPINESS SOXY BLUEEYES 66aw 17/09/05 A cat of fair size and
substance. Ears good size and set. Fair profile but too long in nose. Eyes fair
shape but very pale. Lacking sufficient cheek development. Coat rather short
but good texture.

1 CC & BoB Hart's SHAMANTA OBSIDIAN BUTTERFLY 66e 18/04/05
A very
attractive cat of very pleasing type. Ears of very good size and shape,
correctly set with desired forward tilt. Excellent flat skull. Excellent
profile, good firm chin. Excellent blue eyes of lovely shape and correct size.
Excellent muzzle, well developed cheeks. Excellent body type, good length, well
boned with substance. Excellent coat length and texture. Excellent colour and
markings. A very beautiful lass of overall excellence. I was delighted to see
how well she has progressed since I awarded her the BoB as a kitten at the
Supreme. A joy to handle.

A very
promising kitten of excellent type overall. Ears of very good size and set.
Excellent top of head and profile. Very good nose. Good muzzle, well developed
cheeks. Eyes very good shape and size, rather pale in colour. Excellent body
type with size and substance. Excellent bone. Excellent coat length and
texture. A very promising young neuter.

Ears of good size and shape, well set. Good flat skull. Hood
profile overall, just a little long in the nose. Good muzzle, well developed
cheeks. Eyes good shape and colour. Excellent body type, very good length body,
good muscle, well boned. Tail of good length. Coat of very good length and
texture. A delightful exhibit well deserving PC.

A cat of overall excellent type. Ears very good
size, shape and set. Good flat skull, excellent profile. Good nose length. Good
muzzle, cheeks developing well. Excellent size and substance. Excellent body
type. Excellent coat length and texture. Excellent points colour with clear
coat. Unfortunately this lovely lad has very full eyes of the palest whitish
blue colour which detract from his other excellent qualities - such a
pity.

A cat of good type overall. Head of fair
type. Ears of good shape, well set. Skull rather too rounded, otherwisev good
in profile. Good muzzle with fairly good cheek development. Chin rather
prominent and bite noticeably undershot. Good body type, well boned and of good
size. Coat of good length and texture.

A delightful
female - excellent type, excellent coat, excellent ticking and excellent
temperament. Well deserving of the BoB, I don't recollect judging this exhibit
before.

Ears of good size, shape and set. Skull far too flat and
noticeable dip behind brow spoil the profile. Eyes good shape and set. Good
muzzle. Very good body type. Excellent short coat of very good texture. Fair
ticking and colour.

nose. Eyes of pleasing shape and set. Excellent body type. Excellent coat
length and texture. Even black tipping on the most perfect silver ground -
quite stunning!
2 Dolan's CH KAMEHAND RENAISSANCE 72 43s 26/08/04
Litter sister of the above and very similar in many respects. Ears good
shape and set. Fair skull, excellent profile with perfect nose. Eyes of good
size, just a little full. Excellent body type. Tail a little short and thick.
Coat a little long, excellent silver ground and good colour. Another very
attractive exhibit.
3 Donaghie's ADFURSH KATCHADREAMDOLLY 72 43hsq

Ears of good set but rather small. Skull rather flat, profile
showing a very deep stop. Eyes very full. Muzzle rather square. Fairly good
body type, balanced tail. Coat a little woolly. Excellent colour distribution,
excellent tipping and excellent silver ground. A really wonderfully coloured
coat.

Ears of very good shape and size,
very well set. Skull just a little flat resulting in a slightly angular
profile. Good chin line, bite a little untidy. Eyes very good shape and set,
fair colour for a Red. Excellent body type, tail could be a little longer and
finer for perfect balance. Coat of very good length and texture, very good even
colour with minimal markings. A nice chap, just a tad portly! Well worthy of
Grand.

What a delightful older exhibit, this lady
has an excellent head shape. Large ears of excellent shape and set - no
exaggeration, jut perfectly set! Skull just a little flat giving a slightly
angular profile. Excellent chin line, bite a little untidy. Excellent muzzle
with good lines to wedge. Very good body type, tail a little short for
perfection. Short coat of excellent texture, excellent colour and sound to the
roots. A pleasure to handle. Well deserving of Grand.

Ears of very good size and shape, well set but a tendency to hold a little
high. Good profile overall. Good chin line, correct bite. Pleasing muzzle
shape. Green eyes of very good shape and set. Body of very good type, slender
legs and excellent tail length. Coat of good length and texture, colour overall
good, but there are rather long dark guard hairs along spine - hopefully these
will disappear with age. A delightful natured lass in excellent condition.
I would also like to mention thye winner of the AV Foreign Breeders
Kitten class, Mrs S Goulty's LORRENTINO
ROMMY-LEE quite delightful and very promising White Devon Rex female
kitten. Head of overall excellence. Excellent large low set ears of correct
shape. Excellent broad skull. Excellent muzzle shape, high cheek bones and
whisker break. Large eyes of correct set, though just a tadge full but I took
this to be 'show nerves'. Very good profile, good short nose needing just a
little better definition of stop for perfection. Excellent body type, very
dainty limbs and paws, well balanced tail. Very short dense lightly rexed coat
of clear white colour, complete with delightful stubbly whiskers! A really
pleasing kitten in excellent condition, with the most delightful temperament,
what a little gem …. and she really would have liked to come home with me
!
