My thanks to Dorothy Tomlinson and the Committee for inviting me to judge at the Club's first championship show - I think I've judged at most if not all of the shows run by the club - so good to see Marjorie Stafford still taking part, how much I enjoyed the shows in Stockport so ably managed by Marjorie and Judith Ramsden

I have to say this young man really does have a foul
temper! He nearly blew his chances, it really doesn't do to swear at judges!
However, he is a cat of excellent Oriental type, being both strongly built and
elegant - that most perfect combination. Excellent head. Ears large and
perfectly set with superb top of head. Eyes of excellent shape and set, rather
yellow-green in colour. Excellent profile, good lines to wedge. Good chin line,
and correct bite ….. taking life in both hands to check!!! Body of fair
length, just a little on the portly side. Excellent coat length and texture.
Excellent colour on clear silver base. Excellent even shading. Such a handsome
chap … until he opens his mouth! Despite all he is a superior cat and well
deserved the Grand.

What a stunning head this extremely good natured laid-back chap has! He is
such a delight to judge. Ears of excellent size shape and set. Excellent top of
head. Very good profile, excellent lines to wedge. Green eyes of excellent
shape and set. Excellent body length, though definitely a little on the chubby
side of well fed! Excellent coat texture, but it was a little short and I would
have preferred to see more length especially on the body. Excellent plume.
Pattern of fair definition, colour just a little cold. Excellent condition and
temperament - a real pleasure to handle. Happy to award the Reserve.

TOUCHOFEBONY
At just over 9 months this lass needs to do a bit of growing,
she still looks very much a kitten. Ears of fair size, but set rather too high.
Skull rather flat and profile showing dip to nose. Good green eyes of correct
shape and set. Body of good basic type, but needs to mature. Excellent coat
length and texture, close lying and dense black to the roots. Excellent
condition and temperament. A sweet little lass but on the day not up to CC
standard.
Considered for BoB : Helm's Ch MISHKANA MAGICMOMENTS
Unfortunately this lass has a rather flat skull and severe muzzle pinch,
and this combined with an unsound coat and speckled white hairs on the neck
precluded the BoB award.

Considered for
BoB : Dunlop's CH TIEKE RED SENTINAL. A strong masculine Oriental cat of
overall very pleasing type. Excellent colour. BoB awarded.

Blue Kitten
1 & BoB Garner's KITAI KISKADEE
A promising young
kitten of overall good type. Ears of very good size, but held a little high.
Good profile, nice lines to wedge. Green eyes of excellent shape and set.
Excellent body type, slender legs, well tapered tail. Excellent coat length and
texture, very good colour and almost sound. Very good condition and
temperament. A pleasing kitten.
