A thoroughly enjoyable show, but sadly the G H Carnell Leisure Centre
doesn't quite match up to the splendour of Stockport Town Hall - those early
shows were so enjoyable. It was good to see Marjorie Stafford the Club's long
standing Chairman working on the table. Thanks to Mark for stewarding.

At 10 months this lass was very immature and rather too fine in build. Ears
of very good size and shape but held rather low. Profile far too straight.
Muzzle very fine and lacking sufficient cheek definition even for age. Eyes
rather small but of very good shape and set. Body of fair type, but lacking
sufficient size and substance. Coat of excellent length and texture. Excellent
colour and markings. Very much a baby. Excellent temperament.

Unfortunately this lad was very difficult to handle, he made it quite clear
he didn't want to come out and play! A large strongly built lad. Fairly good
profile. Muzzle looked OK, cheeks lacking a little definition. Ears good size
but held low and flattened. Eyes good shape and excellent blue. Unfortunately I
though I could handle him, I could not really assess him fully. He's probably a
very nice chap
pity he's such an ill mannered lout!

Unfortunately I mislaid my copy of the merit report , I have now found it
and accordingly now provide a report. Overall I found this lass to be small and
lightly boned - even after taking into account her age of 2 years and that
she's female; unfortunately she lacks the required size and bone. Head of
fairly good overall type. Ears of good size and shape, correctly set. Good
muzzle. Fair profile. Cheeks lack the required breadth. Good eye shape and
size. Body small, lightweightand fine in bone. Legs too fine. Tail correct for
balance. Coat very short and moulting heavily - clearly she has shed most of
her topcoat. Very attractive silver tabby colouration and pattern. Excellent
friendly nature.

Still very much a kitten. Head
overall rather weak and fine. Ears of excellent shape and set with good width
between. Skull a little uneven with very prominent occiput. Profile very
uneven. Muzzle very weak. Eyes excellen size, shape and set, superb green
colour. Body of very good type, elegant and fine boned; rather small, even
allowing for age, and needs to carry more weight. Coat excellent length and
texture, colour not sound to the roots.

She appeared to be a very pleasing
exhibit, unfortunately she had a clearly visible open wound on her tail and was
rejected by the Duty Vet.
