My thanks to Pam and Committee for inviting me to judge once again. It was good once again to have Barbara Fellows as my steward. Many thanks Barbara for your company - I enjoyed my day.

ORIENTAL

Grand Premier Male

GR PR Wooller’s GR CH & SUP GR PR CHELANCA LORD GYLLENE 43bs
A most attractive exhibit. Large ears of correct shape and set. Excellent top of head. Excellent profile. Chin very weak. Cheeks rather lacking in substance. Eyes of excellent shape and set, fairly good colour. Body of excellent type, BUT I thought he seemed rather small and tired today. Tail short for balance. Excellent coat length and texture. Good chocolate shading on a rather dull silver ground. Some tarnishing to face and legs. A lovely exhibit and as always a pleasure to handle.

2 Brynes' PR WESTGARTH BLUEBERRY ICE 37a
Ears of fair set. Skull very flat with a resultant angular profile. Fair lines to wedge. Eyes rather full and showing raised haws, colour appeared to be yellow. Very good body type with a good length tail. Paws rather large. Coat of fair length and texture, very dark in colour and two toned.

Grand Premier Female

GR PR Stafford's GD CH & PR HEYBURY OPRAWINFRY 37
An attractive female of good oriental type. Good head type. Ears of excellent shape, well set. Skull rather flat and uneven. Muzzle just a little pinched. Excellent eye shape and set. Elegant body type of pleasing Oriental type. Tail a little short and thick at the tip. This cat has the most excellent coat length and texture, and is dense black to roots. Excellent temperament and condition.

Tortie Adult Female

Clegg's SHOWBIZ GELCUNE MIXEDSPICE. Unfortunately I was unable to handle this very attractive looking female. She was either very hungry, or really didn't want to know me!

A large male of very heavy type. Ears of fair size and set. Skull far too flat lacking any dome. Fair profile but nose rather long. Eyes of fair shape & set. Very heavy body and limbs. Coat of good texture but too long. Heavy shading though evenly distributed. Good silver ground colour. CC not awarded.

Self/Tortie Adult Female

1 Cook's ADVERSANE BLACK PEPPER. 72e 05/08/99
Very small immature young queen still looking like a kitten. Ears fair shape and set. Skull flat and lacking the top of head I expect in an Asian. Nose rather long. Eyes large and full. Body of fair type. Fair tail. Coat of fair length and texture, excellent dense colouring. CC not awarded.

1 Fitzpatrick's GRATHORS EMERISLE MELODIE 68/41bq 09/06/99
At twelve months of age this female still looks like a kitten. Ears fair shape and set. Flat top of head. Muzzle lacks substance. Eyes very full. Body small and lacking substance. Excellent coat length and texture. Very good colouring, showing fair markings. IC not awarded.

A well grown kitten of overall good type. Fair head type. Ears fair shape and set. Fair profile. Eyes very full. Good body type. Good coat length and texture. Good colour with excellent smoke base. A rather stroppy little madam!

Smoke or Burmilla Neuter Male

1 Rambould's GD CH VERVAIN TARAZED 72/43sq. 23/6/97
I found this exhibit to be of very heavy type and additionally rather overweight. Ears of good set but out of balance. Skull far too flat. Nose rather long. Very heavy body type. Coat far too long though of good texture. Excellent light even tipping on an excellent clear silver ground. PC not awarded.
