My thanks to the Show Managers and Committee for inviting me to judge. Once again my thanks to Mark Parkinson for acting as my steward.

Oriental Champion, Male

Gd Ch: Hudson's CH SKWIGLEE JOE BLACK. 37 A stylish chap of excellent Oriental type overall. Head of overall pleasing type. Ears good shape and set. Skull a little flat for perfection, making profile a little too angular. Chin a little shallow, though perfectly even bite. Excellent green eyes of very good shape and set. Good lines to wedge. Excellent long firm elegant body. Superb long elegant legs with really neat dainty feet. Excellent long well whipped tail. Coat very short and close lying, just a little harsh in texture. Black colour dense and sound to the roots. A most attractive cat with a really superb body

Oriental Champion, Female

Gd Ch: Cassar Simmonds CH ADENTSH FORDALISIO. 37g Head of very good type overall. Large ears of excellent set. Excellent profile. Excellent green eyes of beautiful shape and correct setting. Muzzle just a little square. Good long neck. Excellent body length, elegant type. Slender legs. Good tail length. Excellent close lying coat of very good texture. Blue colour rather dark but totally sound to the roots. A most atractive lady well deserving of the grand.

Reserve: Phillips' CH SEIDO SORTILEGE. 29c Ears very good size, shape and set. Very good lines to wedge. Excellent green eyes of very good shape and set. Body of very good type, excellent length and balance. Very good tail length. Excellent coat length and texture. Beautiful even colour almost sound to the roots. A very good example of the variety and a pleasure to judge.

Stafford's CH HEYBURY TITIANRED. 43ds Ears of good size and set. Good profile overall. Eyes of very good shape and set, colour rather more orange than green. Excellent body type. Excellent coat length and texture. Excellent light shading of good red colour on excellent silver ground.

Donnelly's CH SAITAN ABIGAIL. 43p. I was unable to handle this exhibit sufficiently and had no alternative but to mark her CNH. She is indeed a most elegant female, but her aqua eye colour, and distinctly darker points colouring concerned me.

Oriental Classic Tabby, Kitten

Not as Registered: What a cracking temperament this kitten has, a real joy to handle. A nicely grown kitten of very good Oriental type. Ears of very good shape size and set. Green eyes of excellent shape. Excellent profile. Excellent body type. Coat of excellent length and texture. Unfortunately her pattern is superficial and distorted and she is quite definitely a Shaded (43b). Had she been shown as a Shaded I would willingly have awarded her a 1st & BoB.
