Merit : Sheldon's POLLYRAGS PHANTOM PRINCE 66. Male Kitten. A well grown kitten of overall good type. Ears of correct size and shape, well set on head. Good profile. Well developed muzzle and cheeks. Good firm chin. Eyes of good shape and set, colour could be deeper. Very well developed body of good type and balance. excellent strong bone. Tail of good length and shape. Coat of good length and texture, points even in colour and showing excellent contrast to body. A lovely tempered chap shown in excellent condition, certainly a lad with promise.

HAVANA, Adult Female

1. CC N/A. Nicholls' KEELOKAN KASSIOPEIA 12 months. Ears of good size and set, fair top of head. Pleasing profile overall, which would be pretty nigh perfect were it not for the bump on her nose! Head of good overall shape, unfortunately spoiled by a severe muzzle pinch. Eyes of good set, just a trifle full, pale green in colour. Excellent body length and type with balanced tail. Coat of very good length and texture, a little dark in colour and very unsound. White hairs on belly.

ORIENTAL LILAC, Adult Male

1. CC N/A. Gwyther's MYSKANCO KIMIKO. 10 month. Ears of very good size and set. Skull a little flat making a rather angular profile. Excellent chin line. Muzzle rather pinched with insufficient substance under the eyes. Eyes of good size, shape and set, colour a rather yellow green. Body of overall good type and length. Coat of good length and texture, a little cold in colour and not sound to the roots.

ORIENTAL LILAC, Adult Female

1. CC N/A. Lewis' LAVINSHY JAZZ. 3 years. Head a little short for balance. Ears well set but need to be larger. Very square in the muzzle with prominent cheek bones. Eyes well set of good green colour, just a little full. Body a little sort and tending towards cobbiness. Coat of good length and texture, very good colour and showing a good degree of soundness.

ORIENTAL TORTIE, Adult Female

1. CC & BoB. Drummond's PASHTAN LAYLA. 37j. 16 months. Pleasing head of overall very good shape. Ears of correct size and shape set well on the head. Fairly good profile, chin a trifle shallow. Muzzle showing a very slight pinch. Eyes of very good shape and set, quite a good green colour. Excellent body type and length -- possibly an eye on the diet is needed! Tail of adequate length and good taper. Very good length and textured coat, showing good rich mingled colour. An attractive lass well worthy of a CC.

2. Nicholls' CH. MESHUGA HIGH PRIESTESS. 37e. 18 months. Ears of good size and fair set. Skull far too flat showing a distinct indentation behind the nasal bridge. Profile far too angular. Eyes of good size and set, showing a definite tendency to squint. Excellent body type with fine legs and balanced tail. Coat of good length and texture, well coloured and sound to roots, but showing rather too much barring. This exhibit was rather grumpy and didn't seem to be enjoying her day.

ORIENTAL SPOTTED TABBY, Adult Male

1. CC N/A. Thorne's TOLEMAC RED TALISMAN. 38D. 10 months. Though still young I felt this lad to have a rather effeminate head. Ears a little small for balance, and set a little high. Eyes of good shape, a trifle horizontal in set, of a surprisingly green colour for a red. Lines of muzzle spoiled by a pinch. Very good body length and type. Coat of correct length and texture. Good rich red pattern on correct coloured ground. The spots are adequately sound. The dorsal are is a little solid and spine lines/markings rather indistinct. Excellent temperament and condition.

ORIENTAL SPOTTED TABBY, Neuter Male

1. PC N/A. Lodwig's ANNAMAR TIGERTYCOON. 38. Head of overall excellent type. Ears large, well shaped and correctly set. Excellent profile. Eyes of very good shape, size and set, fair colour. Muzzle just a little square. Excellent body type, very good length, legs and tail to balance. Coat of very good length and texture. Overall showing no clearly visible pattern, that showing was very superficial. Dorsal area very solid. Colouring very cold lacking the warmth of ground colour required. Dark grey at roots. A lovely type lad, but unfortunately failing on pattern. 2. Cunningham's PASHTAN QUANTUM LEAP. 38. Head of overall good shape. Ears large and well set. Pleasing profile. Chin just a little shallow, correct bite. Eyes a little horizontal in set, but of good size and shape; fair green in colour. Very good body type and length, good length and taper to tail, unfortunately has terminal fault. Coat of good length and texture. Pattern very indistinct and superficial with excessive agouti invasion. Colour lacking any warmth.

Considered for BoB. Cunningham's PR. LOCHSONG BILLYGOAT GRUFF. 38a. BoB N/A.

NORWEGIAN FOREST CAT ADULT MALE

1 CC N/A Buckley's SNOWCAPE SOLBERG 67 31t. A cat of overall good type. Head rather too broad for length. Ears set rather low, and a little small for balance. Muzzle a little square. Very good profile. Excellent body type and length. Excellent strong bone. Excellent coat texture, though a trifle short of coat at present. Excellent tail. Excellent temperament. I considered awarding the CC, but I felt that the head type was not in accord with my interpretation of the SOP.

NORWEGIAN FOREST CAT ADULT FEMALE

1 CC N/A Dark & Llewellyn's TINDRENDE TOPAZ. 67 14c This magnificent female has everything I look for EXCEPT size. Excellent head type. Excellent ear size, shape and set. Excellent lines to head. Excellent profile. Excellent eye shape and set. Excellent proportioned body type and length, but just not big enough. Excellent coat length and texture. I was very impressed with her and would have dearly liked to award a CC, but I discussed her with another Judge, who agreed with all my comments including the concern of her size. I accept she is female and only 12 months old. If she grows on I hope I'll have another opportunity of judging her.

2 Munslow's NITEFIRE MAJOR KEIRA 67 14a Head rather too broad for balance. Ears set and held too low. Very good profile. Eyes of good set, but rather full. Very good body type, but again I'd like more size. Excellent coat length and texture.

ASIAN SMOKE/BURMILLA ADULT

1 CC Rose's KARESAMA CARMENROSE 72 43as. What can one say about such a truly magnificent young female --- she surely did impress me! Excellent head type. Excellent ear size and set. Excellent muzzle. Excellent eye shape and set, very good colour. Excellent body type with perfectly balanced tail. Excellent coat texture, to be critical a fraction long. Excellent even shading on a truly excellent silver ground. Excellent temperament. Hard to fault, and oh so very attractive -- without doubt one of the best I've handled

ASIAN SMOKE/BURMILLA NEUTER MALE

1 PC Burdon's BALLEGO KALAMAZOO 72 43as Overall of very good type. A pleasing head overall though the nose is a little long for perfection. Ears good size and set. Good eye shape. Very good type overall. Excellent coat texture, just a little long. Excellent shading. Excellent silver ground.

2 Laugher's LOHR HOT CHOCOLATE. 72 42bq. A rather grumpy individual who didn't show to best advantage. Difficult to fully assess. Good type overall. Coat of good colour, but smoking rather indistinct.

ASIAN SMOKE/BURMILLA NEUTER FEMALE

1 PC N/A Tasker's BUNDOOK BALLY REENA 72 43sq. Head not totally conforming to SOP. Skull far too flat. Too long in nose. Ears of good size and set. Body type too heavy and coarse. Coat of good length and texture. Fair shading of good colour on a rather weak silver ground.

ORIENTAL CREAM / APRICOT ADULT

1 IC N/A Siviter's STILETTO ACHILLES HEEL. 37f. A very nervous chap, and very small for his 17 months. Ears rather small of fair set. Eyes of good set, but very full and far too orange in colour. Profile ver scooped. Very week chin, despite many teeth missing it was clear that the bite was overshot. Fair body type, but totally lacking muscle texture. Coat of fair length and texture. My initial reaction to this cat was that he was in fact 37fn - I would have liked to see him in clear daylight.

ORIENTAL TICKED TABBY NEUTER

No Award - Rhead's PR JADEVYN TATE. 45n. A most nervous and unhappy cat with haws virtually filling the eyes. I called the Duty Vet. I left the cat and returned prior to lunch there was no change. Certainly this cat has a lot of quality, but he was clearly distressed and would have been better left at home.
